WATER BAPTISM IS AN OUTWARD SIGN OF INWARD CHANGE

Water Baptism is an important step for all believers, and a public declaration of new life through God’s mercy, grace and forgiveness. When we commit our lives to Jesus, there is a transformation that takes place. It might not be seen immediately, but it happens. It’s a heart deal. Your heart changes and you really are a new creation. As you go beneath the water, baptism is a picture of your old life being gone, and when you’re raised out of the water, it symbolizes that new life has come."Those who become Christians become new persons. They are not the same anymore, for the old life is gone. A new life has begun!" 2 Corinthians 5:17 (NLT)
