Christmas Compassion 2025: Adopt a Student

This Christmas season, we’re inviting the Commission Church family to collaborate on a special Christmas Compassion initiative by "Adopting a Student."

Research continues to show that teenagers thrive when they have meaningful relationships with caring adults beyond their immediate family. These connections have the potential to build confidence, strengthen faith, and create a deep sense of belonging, which means your involvement (no matter how big or small) can make a lasting impact on the life of a student.

“Adopting” a student can take many forms:

- Praying for a specific student throughout the Christmas season—and into the new year.

- Donating toward Winter Camp, helping students experience Jesus in a unique and unforgettable way.

- Encouraging them on Sundays with a smile, a kind word, or a moment of intentional connection.

- Supporting our youth ministry, whether by serving one Sunday morning a month or providing needed items that fuel our weekly gatherings.

Join us as we come together to invest in the next generation. Pick up a tag from the tree in the Lobby for next steps, or contact youth@ccflive.org to have details emailed to you.

Your intentional act of compassion towards a student this Christmas (and beyond) can open the door to transformation all year long.
